Lampshade Repair, Recovers & Relines
Cranberry Hill Lighting utilizes American manufacturers to repair your lampshades. We offer relines and recovers of all soft back and hard back lampshades. We can match what exists or reinvent your shade. If the outside fabric or interior lining of your lampshade has disintegrated we will replace it. When recovering a lampshade choose a similar fabric or choose something new from our swatches of fine silks and linens. Depending on the amount of damage to a hardback shade, we can repair it or have it remade. We have many specialty papers swatch options and most fabrics are offered as hardback. Antique trims can be saved and reused on the recovered shade or you can choose your own trim. We also offer custom lampshade options, you provide your own fabric or paper or you can choose from our swatches. The two beaded shades on the left are fine examples of our expert restoration capabilities. They were restored using the original antique beads. Bring in your damaged shade and we’ll make it new again!
Custom Fabrication
You dream it, we build it. The process… First, our talented team will listen to your ideas, use your cocktail napkin sketch, and scroll through your inspiration photos in order to have a full understanding of what style of light you are looking for. Second, we identify what type of light source you need; task, ambient, accent, architectural…sometimes it’s a mix of all four. Third we measure. We’ll take or ask for specific measurements that help us calculate just how much light you need and what size fixture will provide that light. Fourth, we design. We’ll gather our team and specialty artisans to plan the build that achieves your desired results. Fifth, we present the designs to you to get your input and make necessary changes. Last, we build. We turn the designs into reality. Granted it is not a fast process but it will be worth your while.
Thank you so much for getting my lampshade repaired. It looks as good as new. Enclosed in the box is its twin. If you can give it the same treatment they will be a perfectly matched set.
