About Us
Cranberry Hill Lighting was born from a shared passion for art and design. In 1970, founders Anthony and Dorothy Anni—better known as Tony & Dottie—embarked on a journey that intertwined their love for fine arts and lighting design. After falling in love with the serene beauty of the Maine coast, they made Cape Neddick their home, where they built both their business and their family of five.
Who We Are
Cranberry Hill Lighting started as Cranberry Hill Antiques in 1970 as an antique shop filled with treasures that Tony and Dottie collected from around the world. Born from a desire to showcase their antique finds, Dottie transformed some of those treasures into lighting. Her lighting quickly became the shop’s centerpiece. Over the years, the business evolved into a New England destination for unique antique and handcrafted lighting, renowned for its exceptional lampshades and expert repair services.
With decades of experience and a deep appreciation for balanced design, Tony & Dottie established Cranberry Hill Lighting as a beacon of craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. Their keen eye for aesthetics and dedication to creating beautifully harmonized lighting earned them a reputation for excellence. Affectionately known as “The Hill,” the shop offers a curated selection of classic, transitional, and period lighting, along with a unique blend of their original designs.
50 Years of Light and Creativity
For over 50 years, Cranberry Hill Lighting has been more than just a lighting store—it’s a gallery of illuminated art. Tony & Dottie believed that a well-chosen lamp is akin to a fine piece of art, capable of transforming a room with warmth, personality, and beauty. This philosophy guides every piece we create.
Cranberry Hill Lighting remains a one-of-a-kind business, dedicated to bringing art and light together in perfect harmony. We invite you to experience the magic of beautifully crafted lighting, created with the same passion and artistry that Tony & Dottie envisioned over half a century ago
Today, Tony and Dottie’s daughter, Eileen, carries on the family legacy, leading a team of skilled artisans with the same passion for lighting. The Hill remains a captivating destination for lighting enthusiasts, offering an extensive collection of antique and custom-made lamps, chandeliers, and sconces, complemented by an unmatched selection of lampshades.
